AN EVENING WITH HUNT SLONEM — May 15, Santa Barbara
We are pleased to invite you to a special evening at the gallery on Friday, May 15, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, in the presence of renowned American artist Hunt Slonem, on the occasion of his first visit to Santa Barbara.
This intimate reception offers a rare opportunity to discover a curated selection of his works and to meet the artist in person.
Over the past decades, Slonem has developed a distinctive and immediately recognizable body of work, held in major public and private collections. His paintings, often centered on birds, butterflies, and tropical flora, are built through layered, expressive brushwork and a vibrant, rhythmic palette, reflecting both repetition and a meditative process. Today, his work is included in over 250 museum collections worldwide, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, further underscoring his lasting institutional recognition.
During the evening, the artist will also be signing his books, each accompanied by his iconic hand-drawn bunnies and butterflies, making this a truly special and unmissable moment.
We would like to extend our warm thanks to Rideau Vineyard for their generous support of this event.
Space is limited; we encourage early RSVP.
See you soon,
Fanny Seimandi & Julien Leprieur
